Family Nature Club Events

Saturday, June 6; 10-2pm- Elk Lake Cleanup & Hike
We will be cleaning up Elk Lake Resort Campground and then venture out on a hike! Bring your rakes, shovels, gloves and lunch!!!

Tuesday, June 30; 4-8pm- Family BBQ & Hike
Join us at Farewell Bend Park for a family BBQ & hike.  The hike begins at 4pm and the BBQ begins at 5pm. Please meet at the play structure for the hike!  We do ask that each family brings a side dish or dessert to share with the group! 
*Don't forget there is parking on both sides of the river.

Saturday, July 18; 12pm-Sparks Lake Hike
Come and hike the Ray Atkinson Trail (2 miles-partially paved).  Bring a picnic lunch for after the hike and stay for water play and more fun!

Saturday, August 1; 12pm-Fall River Hike & Picnic
Looking for more of a challenge?  How about a 6 mile hike.  Make sure you bring plenty of water and a lunch for the trail!

Tuesday, August 18; 6pm- Urban Hike (Location TBA)
If you don't want to travel very far... come to our Urban Hike right her in Bend.  Hiking trails are practically out your back door!

Tuesday, September 1; 6pm-Larkspur Trail
Want a short evening hike or a little more of a challenge?  Either one and this hike is perfect.  Hike as far as 7 miles or as little as 1.  It's not about the distance but about the adventure!

Saturday & Sunday, August 22-23; 1pm-1pm-Elk Lake Campout
